Proxeon joins EU-funded research consortium
December 2008
SHARING OPTIONS:

ODENSE, Denmark—Proxeon will be one of 12 partners in a new research consortium called PROSPECTS (PROteomics SPECification in Time and Space), which will focus on developing new technologies to provide deeper understanding of the human proteome and its role in disease. There will be specific focus on functional proteomics and mass spectrometry. Collaborators cover the fields of proteomics; structural and cell biology; cell imaging; bioinformatics and data mining; and computational modeling of proteomic data. The goal is to annotate quantitatively the human proteome with regard to protein localization and dynamics. Data will be available to the scientific community via annotated online public databases. Other partners are Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry and ThermoFisher in Germany; Swiss Federal Institute of Technology; University of Cambridge and University of Dundee, UK; University of Southern Denmark; Center for Genomic Regulation, Spain; The Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden; and the Hebrew University, Israel.
